This MicroSight 1.3MP combo offers TWO microscopes. The first microscope focuses from 10-200x and has 3 additional interchangeable focus tips allowing you to know exactly when you are focusing at 15x, 30x, 50x, 100x, and 200x. The second microscope is FIXED at 500x magnification. This fixed focus scope is best used with pond waters and living protists as well as prepared slides. Southern Science Supply has evaluated all of the existing zoom microscopes on the market and none have better durability and quality than the MicroSight Microscope.
Optional 50x and 100x polarizing tips provide subdermal features and are useful in other applications as well.
The software included with the MicroSight USB cameras displays live video and captures stills, movies, and time-lapse on Windows and Apple computers. The software also has drawing, labeling and measurement features as well as freeze frame and dual picture display. The MicroSight has a capture button, a dimmer for the 6 LEDs and a focus wheel and comes with a small plastic stand.
